I hit stitch day in this composition book. I've written roughly 2500 words today. If I could work on just one idea I'd have one finished. I'm 25000 into one, 5k into this one, another 5k into another, 2.5k into another. I've got ideas and they might not all get finished. But I think this one and the one with 25k words will. Lots of ideas. The pencil and paper are letting things flow. It is so hot the color changing orange bullet pencil is almost all yellow. The fish dish keeps getting filled again and again. I'm chewing up pencils. I've filled 3 comp books and have started writing by hand a month or so ago. Today a scene for a short story came to mind, so I wrote it in a fresh new comp book. And I feel pretty good about this new style of writing. It flows. Eventually I'll have to get it all into the computer but for now paper is good. I'm very much favoring soft dark B and 2B pencils. The Tombow in the pic is my pocket pencil, though I haven't carried my pocket notebook since stay at home. This littlenjat is packed with sugar rush peach, lemon drop, gochu, habaneros, and yellow jelly bean peppers plus one giant clove of garlic then covered in honey. The honey has already thinned out and the heat level is amazing. Well, the leak stopped then got MUCH worse. Much worse. So this is the vision this morning. I am working in another office but at least facilities finally showed up and got someone on it. And the office is dry. But the rug needs a good scrub. Now that it is dry as a bone it smell ok, like paper that has been wet then dried out. I hate our upstairs neighbors seems they half assed a repair after the first leak a year ago.

Natarag Marble pencils are great for long writing sessions. They hold a point and have nicely dark graphite. The graphite is also silky smooth on this particular composition book's paper. I like the regularly sized Triplus over the jumbo. There is something about the triangular shape that makes my handwriting particularly shitty. I've added another 500 words to my #shittyfirstdraft and I feel pretty good about that. I had another idea, might let it marinate a bit longer before I record it. Farm tragedy: nephew let the chickens out, mom forgot that there was a trap set for raccoons and skunks. Ended up catching a young hen instead. Shattered her leg up in the thigh. Sadly there was no saving her. My nephew and mom were both very upset. As is the nature of a farm, 6 eggs were put under a broody hen with the hope they'll get a few more chicks. #farmlife #sad
