Rendering out my first thing through Davinci Resolve. HUGE learning curve compared to Rush. pretty happy with how the mini PC is handling the program. Today at work we discussed the difficult roadblocks and the things to help us get past them. We then created marble mazes. The only rule was that our marble had to make it through the maze. For the folx tell who wonder what a walk looks like when you are shooting your own walking footage... This is a small snippet of my walk this AM. I got in 2 miles and about half of it looks like this. This is at the overpass though, so some of this is going to the park and then coming back. I realized it would make a cool shot if I included the downtown Lynn sign in a walking shot. So I went back and set up the NoPro on the hydrant and got the shot. Warmer weather means a lot of unhoused folxs we're out and about and I tried real hard to not disturb them. Might need to find another park to walk to, not because I'm afraid, but to not disturb people sleeping. (Before anyone at me, I worked with the unhoused population in this area for quite awhile and everyone has a different story. There is no need for me to accidentally get them on film and hit them with further indignities.) I might need to figure out a park or place on my way to work so I can record and get to work on time. Today was not the day I planned. I had a rough time not being pissed off about that. I hate plumbing. A still life about the thing I hate the most about home ownership. We had a MINOR pipe freeze that resulted in water in the kitchen... It was in the supposedly sealed heating system. Which is not a closed system at all... The water has been shut off in our house some 9am. I finished the repair/kludge about 30 minutes ago. I hate plumbing.

Spent some time working on ideas for the gel plate that would be accessible to kids, and make some really cool stuff. Recycled meat trays with texture carved in, my first success with this method. Very cool textures in paint depending on the thickness of paint. Also knock off Lego plates from the dollar tree. Cool stuff. Fun!!! #art #artist #makeart #gelprinting
