Friday night excitement - cleaning and repacking the bearings in the bike. It was sorely in need of the teardown and repacking. The old factory yellow grease was black. Cones and seats looked good with minimal amount of wear. Repacking them with Lucas red bearing grease and they feel very good. I also mounted my new tires which are wider than the old slicks. They were cheap but look like they'll ride well enough. I'll put them back on tomorrow and pump them up. Pretty happy with the job so far. I'll also put the pedals on.
