First peach of the season, so juicy juice squirted across the porch when I took a bite. Peaches are a pain in my ass, but so tasty. I won't get a ton this year, but I'll have enough to freeze some and to make a fermented peach habanero hot sauce. I'll put a half dozen of these away in the fridge for the sauce and take the rest to my family. Next to ripen are my seckel pears. Those will get processed into dried pears, canned pears, and I might look into a fermented hot sauce as well as perry.
