A commenter on my flickr account said that there was something "dear" about how I'm cradling the edge of this vine, and when I think about it, I love my plants. I really do. There is something so very great about that first touch of spring and those first buds. The first buds let you know that the plant made it and can tell you how much fruit the plant will produce.
I love my plants almost as much as I love my dogs. With proper care and maintenance my plants will feed me. It's a good relationship.
Today I'm focusing on cutting a new garden bed in my back yard. We're going small this year, just enough room for a row of lettuces, peas, carrot, beans, squash and zucchini. I'm putting tomatoes and peppers in 2 spots around the house and a small herb bed next to the house. I'm looking forward to the payoff this summer and fall.
Processing a bit more. Some gel prints made with oil pastel resist and then more collage bits from the resist sheets themselves. Something about using resists in this process seems appropriate. The coat hangers were resists from the plate after I'd made several copies already so the print was super grungy a perfect look for this.the sealed lips were the first registered gel print I've done with my large plate. Killer. Thought made some uterus prints these were traced on deli paper then coated with a thin layer of paint. Montana paint markers were KILLER for this. molotow too. They also float on the surface so well. I need to sit on this one a bit then trim, sign and seal it. #collage #printnerd #print #art #artistsoninstagram

Here's a shot of my index for @jeanettehouse when I have a break in what I'm writing about I add a comma then the next page for that topic. Take RSVP discussion questions those are on page 39, 40, 43, and 44 so far. My vision statement ponderings are on page 34-35, 45. I have also set this up very different from the typical #bujo #bulletjournal it is basic because my side hustle needs are different than my work needs. In this case I don't use a daily log, simply a future log with a monthly log with space for a general to do list. I use a future log, monthly log, and daily log at my dayjob. #basicbulletjournalvia Instagram http://bit.ly/2AmfGGI
It’s time I posted some pics here about my planner. You could term this a moleskine hack, or a love affair. I’m not sure which it is. All I ...
