Not quite there. Will cook this on high for another 4 hours, then let it simmer until I get home. The lid is turned to allow venting (love the oval shape) and covered with a flour sack towel to keep it clean. Just realized I forgot to reserve my 2 cups of plain. :( oh well. I'll have to get more apples and make another batch. Oh dear. ;) #preserved
