I'm going to mess around with 100% recycled kratsky passive hydroponics this winter. I've got bok choi, swiss chard, and lettuce in cups transformed into net cups. I plan to do some videos of the process. The kcups are about the same size as a 1.5in net cup. So we'll see how they work. . I'm also over a month (maybe 2) into the #winteriscanning pepper growing challenge, which is to grow a pepper plant in a 12oz beverage can no bottom watering or passive hydro allowed. Goal is to grow as many peppers as possible in 1 year. We'll see how that goes. . I hate kcups with a burning fiery passion at least this is a way I can reuse them and give them a bit more life. I think you could also start seeds in them. #reducereuserecycle #upcycle #urbanoasis #citysteading #cityfarm #foodporn #futurehotsauce #wintergarden #hydroponic Picked up a grow light off FB marketplace. Buying shit like that is always an adventure. I drove up into fancy former farm country and went to a half million dollar home to buy a cheap light once used for house plants. It will work well for my purposes for now. I've only got one chili going now and it'll be a few weeks before I have more plants that need a lamp.
