The local stop 'n slop had hydroponic basil for sale for $3 I thought I might transplant it into my set up. The plug fit perfectly into my recycled kcup kratky plastic hydro set up. To keep the light out of the tub with the nutrient solution I have covered it in coffee bags. The top has the silvered mylar up to reflect the light back into the plant. Not surprisingly the plant has already perked up it surprised me that the tub holds a half gallon of solution! This set up other than the plan and solution is all recycled.
