Here's a thing you really never want to wake up to but if you do, be glad for. This morning I had a fraud alert on my phone, in email, and in app. Someone stole my debit card info and used it for several charges. This was the largest, and the one that triggered the fraud alert. The first charge was $999 and almost cleaned out the account. (We have one we use for bills and then our own personal accounts for gas and smaller things like lunches.) The only reason this account had the $999 in it was because we were about to pay the mortgage. So, yeah. The bank was awesome, and labeled everything as fraudulent. So we're getting the money back, but this weekend is a pain in the ass. Also, God I hate scammers. I have no idea where my info could have been snagged. I've got 2 factor authentication on everything and tend to go to the same places all the time. God scammers suck.
